Arabica coffee hits US$ 3.80/lp in nearby futures this morning (03)

Coffee prices were moving in opposite directions on international exchanges early Monday morning (03). At around 9 am (Brasília time), Arabica coffee was up 2.32% and reached US$ 3.80/lp in the March/25 contract.

According to the international portal Bloomberg, a series of withdrawals from certified Arabica stocks is increasing concerns about supply shortages."Stocks in warehouses monitored by the exchange are now at their lowest level since November," the publication also highlighted.

A report by Pine Agronegócios indicates that even with crops improving in quality due to the constant rains at the beginning of the year, the outlook for the 25/26 harvest does not change at all, which is likely to have a 4.4% drop compared to the previous harvest (according to Conab).

Arabica was then trading up 810 points at 385.95 cents/lbp in the March/25 contract, up 740 points at 378.75 cents/lbp in the May/25 contract, up 660 points at 370.65 cents/lbp in the July/25 contract, and up 640 points at 360.95 cents/lbp in the September/25 contract.

Robusta was down US$50 in the March/25 and May/25 contracts, at US$5,668/ton and US$5,644/ton, down US$42 at US$5,576/ton in the July/25 contract, and down US$27 at US$5,496/ton in the September/25 contract.
