Soybean futures advance with technical purchases this morning in Chicago
On Thursday morning (31), soybean futures contracts started the session working higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CBOT). At around 8:15 a.m. (Brasília time), the futures contracts were up between 3.75 and 5.25 points.
November/24 was up 5.25 points and priced at US$9.81 per bushel. January/25 was quoted at US$ 9.95 per bushel and up 3.75 points. March/25 was trading at US$10.09 per bushel and was up 3.75 points. The May/25 contract gained 3.75 points and was trading at US$10.25 per bushel.
According to Successful Farming, soybean futures rose modestly in overnight trading due to technical purchases and dry weather in the Midwest of the United States.
According to Agrifatto, soybean prices reversed the losses of recent days and advanced 0.68% in Paranaguá/PR, reaching R$143.56/sc, influenced by the current levels of the dollar and the positive movement in Chicago.
