Soybeans rise in Chicago on Monday morning, following good gains in bran and oil

Soybean prices are rising on the Chicago Stock Exchange this Monday morning (25). Around 7:35 a.m. (Brasília time), prices were registering gains of between 6.50 and 7.25 points, with January at US$ 9.90 and May at US$ 10.13 per bushel. The oilseed's rise runs counter to that of corn and wheat, both of which are falling on the CBOT, but which are following gains among derivatives.

At the start of the day, soybean oil and soybean meal futures were up by more than 1.2%, adjusting after the latest setbacks and serving as good fuel for the grain's rise. Both markets recorded a week of intense volatility and today they are rising, recovering important levels.

At the same time, traders remain attentive to the fundamentals, especially the behavior of the weather and the new crop in Brazil, as well as demand - divided between Brazilian and American soybeans
