Soy/Cepea: Harvest continues at full speed; estimates of a record harvest grow stronger

The soybean harvest continues “full steam ahead” in Brazil's main regions. According to Cepea's analysis, higher productivity has been confirmed in many areas, which reinforces the estimate of record production in the country. With the supply of grain increasing and buyers more active, business for immediate delivery has heated up, according to the Research Center. Conab estimates national soybean production at 167.37 million tons, 0.8% more than in February and 13.3% higher than the 2023/24 harvest - of this total, 56.3% had already been harvested by March 9, according to the company.
